Mantle

Here are some scenic shots of Castro & Ancud in Chiloé. Ironically, one of the greatest tourist attractions in Castro are the palafitos, which is essentially the barrio. The structures are built on wooden pilotes made from luma trees. Amazingly, these seemingly precarious structures have withstood earthquakes that have toppled the rest of the city. Ancud is a little more scenic and mellow by comparison and has a fantastic feria municipal.
